SUPPORT ACROSS NZ
At MacStrong, we believe every rangatahi has the potential to succeed. Our programmes are designed to build resilience, strengthen identity, and create meaningful, sustainable change for young people, their whānau, and their communities.
Through strong relationships, practical experiences, and collaboration with support networks, we deliver community-based and in-school programmes that are safe, structured, culturally responsive, and outcome focused.
DEVELOPING our future
SUCCESS BY DESIGN
- MENTORING: Individual and small group mentoring built around an Individual Development Plan, supporting life skills, emotional regulation, confidence, accountability, and positive identity through real-world engagement.
- SUPERVISION WITH ACTIVITY: Structured, purposeful engagement in pro-social environments where young people learn discipline, teamwork, communication, and self-management through doing and reflecting.
- MACSTRONG LEARNING: Academic support, tutoring, and life skills development delivered in partnership with schools and whānau to improve engagement, confidence, and achievement.
- SELF-DEFENCE: Discipline-based training that builds physical confidence, emotional control, respect, and personal safety.
- IN-SCHOOL WORKSHOPS: A 10-week programme grounded in strength-based practice, cultural responsiveness, holistic development, and community connection. 'Worthy' supports students to build confidence, regulate emotions, strengthen communication, develop practical life skills, and set clear personal goals for growth.
